Response Marketing Group is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems. You will assist our employees with all user account and computer configurations as well as desk side support. This is a part time, morning position.  We’d love to make you a part of our team! Pay depends on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily IT operations
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems as necessary
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a desktop support technician
  • Excellent knowledge of computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Basic understanding of setting up and maintaining the Office Suite (word, excel, outlook etc)

 Desired Qualifications:

  • A+/Network+ or relevant work experience with hardware/networking
  • Experience working with Mitel systems
  • Familiar with cloud resources like Azure
  • Hands on experience using virtualization technology (ie: esxi, hyper-v, etc)
  • Experience using a ticketing system like spiceworks, etc
